Engine

Either gasoline or diesel engines, those little jobs that most people don't realize affect the engine like coolant never having been flushed, resulting in minor overheating problems

Body

A small scratch/mark from when someone knicked your bumper in a garage, and it just needs to be buffed out, or a small area needs a paint touch-up

Electrical

Simple jobs like replacing a fuse for the rear cigarette outlet, or jobs like installing a car alarm system or remote start

Brakes

The brakes squeal when you hit the brake pedal, or it takes more force to apply the brakes than when the car was newer

Tires

If the spare tire was previously used and wasn't replaced, it needs to be replaced; the tire pressure monitoring system light is illuminated, and you don't know which tire needs to be inflated

Performance

The car feels like it's less powerful than when it was new, or when you come to a stop at a light, the engine almost sounds like it is going to stall
